Multi-scale buildings
American West Group

This page depicts model structures that I can produce. These designs were intended for wargaming as well as simple dioramas so they have printed floors and removable upper stories and roofs.

This is one of the collections from the American West that I have available, you also might care to check the Badlands and/or the Western "printed kit" sets for alternative or supplementary designs.

They were intended for 28~32mm wargaming (approx 1:64 scale) but I have found that they readily print for Ho or Gauge 1 scales.

If you have not already read through the page on scales/gauges and the general printing options please do so before contacting me.

Please note that the figures, vehicles and track depicted are not included with the structure prints.

American western group

Basic Store, 2 styles of roof, 2 optional styles of "false front"

Barn, Livery Stable or Blacksmiths, Undertaker or other store

Corner Hotel (in its larger form), Saloon (in its 6 unit form), Bank

Wind pump, water tower, station [if you do not own model railroad items you might consider the US Civil War items]

Store with walkway extension, flat roofed store

Sample 3 store street front

those are the 1:87 and 1:32 versions of one of several smaller western storefronts, other single and 2 storey buildings such as further stores, a small station, bank, sherrifs office, barn, church, blacksmiths/livery stable are included in the group.

The larger units such as the the saloon and hotel are a modular design and the full saloon as depicted above is the equivalent of 6 average smaller structures. Something half the depth or two/thirds or one/third the width or reduced down to just

the traditional swing-door false front wall could be produced instead. The full salooon building would take a couple of weeks to print at 1:32, but it could be done. I'd be pleased to have a reason to invest in further printers.

You might also like to consider the American Civil War series for further barns and some period buildings that are at home in a western setting.
