| Trix has been producing model railway products for many years, this page is for their Express range of Ho gauge model railway items. Trix Express was in 1935 one of the first Ho gauge ranges and was produced up to 2003. Effective lobbying by enthusiasts led to the reintroduction in 2018. This was not a great stretch since most models were now being produced with NEM coupler sockets and substituting deeper flange wheelsets was hardly difficult. On the locomotive front Märklin was of course used to 3-rail although the Trix Express range was dc and the track had a continuous central rail (similar in many ways to the original Hornby dublo system). |
